GENEVIEVE NNAJI IS A YEAR OLDER!

Today (May 3rd) is the birthday of one of Nollywood's most beautiful and celebrated actresses, Genevieve Nnaji.

The Mbaise, Imo state native was born to a Teacher mother and Engineer father and had her secondary education at the Methodist Girls Secondary Schoool. 
As a child, Genevieve featured in the hit series, Ripples and in 1998, she landed her first movie role in the hit movie, Most Wanted which featured other heavyweights like Regina Askia, Liz Benson, Ayo Adesanya and current president of the Actors' Guild of Nigeria(AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima. Genevieve would then go on to star in Ijele which launched her into limelight.
Over the course of her career, she's dabbled into other areas of entertainment such as music and fashion; releasing an album in 2004 and launching her label, St Genevieve in 2008.

She has featured in several movies including Beautiful Soul, Letters to a Stranger, Mirror Boy, Tango With Me, Bursting Out, Ije: The Journey,  Weekend Gateaway, Games Women play,  Silent Scandal and most recently Half Of A Yellow Sun.
