The MORDERN NIGERIAN WOMAN

This is what happens when 3 creatives come together. Photographer extraordinaire Prince Meyson, Makeup Artist and Blogger Dodos for D’Artiste by Dodos and Beth Model Management collaborated on the Modern Nigerian Woman project.

Dodos created these makeup looks thinking of the modern Nigerian woman. She’s Simple, she’s Sophisticated, she’s Fierce and Confident. She rocks her Fro, her natural hair her braids her weaves, she’s very much must aware. Unlike her usual clean natural looks we decided to play with colours in this fun shoot.

There’s so much talent and in this shoot. The creatives featured a few Nigerian Brands like Zaron Cosmetics, Dapmod, Crotchet by Cece and more.

Here we are today at BET Award and hoping one day, it will be for the Grammy Award. It is a crazy ride but I am thankful that God chose me. I am myself. It is just that being a popular person doesn’t permit me to do some certain things I would have loved to do. I would have just been a...
