THE QUEEN OF GOLD COAST, YVONNE NELSON COVERS Y! AFRICA

SG

Truth be told, nothing goes better with a magazine cover, than a stunning diva. Case in point – Yvonne Nelson!
The Ghollywood actress covers Y! Africa‘s new issue.
Yvonne leaves little to the imagination, displaying her decolletage in a sleeveless green biker jacket, styled with a long white skirt, silver cuffs and a statement necklace.
Called “The Queen of the Gold Coast“, the leading movie star in her home country ups the ante, rocking sexy pieces and still flaunting her amazing hot bod in the editorial spread.
Yvonne speaks on her work, businesses, her vision for the creative industry and where she sees Africa’s future.
Last week, Africa’s youngest billionaire Ashish J. Thakkar was on the cover, which presented us with the new direction of the publication. (click here to read)

“Y! Africa is focused governance, enterprise and technology, but it also has an eye firm eye on the culture,” says its associate editor, Tunde Kara. “The culture weaves the underlying thread that advances the aspirations of any people, and those like Nelson who are its glittering stars, make it possible.”
Y! is available in stores and from vendors across Nigeria, and is also distributed in Ghana, Rwanda and South Africa.
In Nigeria, you can also pay for the magazine with your mobile phone or online at Okada Books (www.okadabooks.com) and Exodus Estore (www.exodusestore.com), and have it delivered to any part of the country (click on magazine, click on the Y! Africa logo and place your order).

YEMI ALADES RECIPE FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER

In a recent chat with Punch, the three-time BET nominee talks about her successful music career, the BET awards and her style. Read some excerpts. On the recipe for her success. It is definitely God, a team that doesn’t sleep and passion. Whether there is money or no money, it is the passion that keeps you going. I just focus on being me. Whatever I have achieved so far, they weren’t my aim. My aim was just to become better every day at what I do. Somehow, people noticed. I have been into music for about seven years professionally. Here we are today at BET Award and hoping one day, it will be for the Grammy Award. It is a crazy ride but I am thankful that God chose me. I am myself. It is just that being a popular person doesn’t permit me to do some certain things I would have loved to do. I would have just been a...
