9 REASONS YOU LOOK OLDER THAN YOU ARE

Ladies love to look good (sometimes extra glam) and the reason is usually to stay 'chic and young'  but sometimes, we overdo this and get it wrong aging ourselves in the process; God help any guy who guesses our age older!
There are several oopsies we make unconsciously but henceforth should avoid:
1) Wearing Your Hair Too Long
Oh dear, this never gets old, leaving our hair weaves flowing about isn't always chic especially when they are way to long, a classic bun/updo here and there gives our facial feature more prominence hence chic!
2) Dressing Too Young/ Too Old
We should always ensure to dress our age, a grandma in a body con for instance will look out of place; no matter how 'banging' her body is! Be age appropriate.
3) Ignoring Your Neck, Chest And Hands
In the quest to keep your face perfect, don't neglect your neck, hands and chest area, the neck for instance gives our age off easily ladies, take good care of the entire body as you would the face!
4) Wearing Too Much (or the Wrong) Foundation
Always check out the perfect foundation for your shade and do not overuse it!
5) Wearing Too Much Blush
Too much blush doesn't just look bad-it ages you! Go easy on them
6) Wearing Too Much Bronzer/Shimmer
Stay away from "frost" or "iridescent" eye shadow especilally if you want a youthful look, too much 'glitterati' ages you!
Don't keep this to yourself, share. *wink*
7) Not Using the Right Moisturizer
Always use the right moisturizer for your skin type, taking very good care of the skin makes it glow and consequently knocks years off you!
8) Dressing Too Trendy
Some  of us are guilty of this, we want to rock everything in vogue and end up overdoing it. Once something go out of trend we are left looking 'stale' oops! We can invest in classy, sophisticated pieces instead.
9) Being Nostalgic About Clothes
All the attachments we feel towards our favourite old dresses, tops, make-up and other skincare products should go! They don't fit anyways and its always good to de-clutter

THIS MAY SAVE YOUR HAIRLINE

A lot of people complain about thin or thinning edges/hairline. A small tip, which may go some way in helping to keep edges thriving is to use pH, which simply put is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of a substance. The scalp has an acid mantle, meaning that it is covered by “a very fine, slightly acidic film on the surface of the skin acting as a barrier to bacteria, viruses and other potential contaminants that might penetrate the skin” 1 . This means that for the scalp to thrive, it should be at a pH of about 4.5 and 6.2. Luckily, the sebaceous glands secrete this acidic film so it occurs naturally. When we wash our faces, we use an alkaline soap or cleanser. A lot of times, when a barrier of some sort, such as a shower cap is not used, some of this soap or the resulting foam lands smack on the hair line and will stay there until rinsed off…if rinsed it off properly. This disturbs the natural pH of that area of the scalp.  Think about it this way: When we shampoo,...
