HOW TO BRIGHTEN DARK KNUCKLES AT HOME!

Beautiful hands get same attention as a beautiful face. Well at least this is what I feel. Clean, moisturised and soft hands are a must for me. Dry, wrinkled and veiny hands can mar one’s well groomed image.

Having black knuckles is a common beauty related issue which can have several reasons like working with harsh chemicals, lack of skin care, prolong sun exposure, low haemoglobin etc.

Keeping our hands well groomed and younger-looking does not take much time or money. Have a look at few home remedies that will help you lighten your dark knuckles and flaunt your hands with pride.

• Apply powdered oatmeal mixed with sour yoghurt and cucumber juice on dull areas to brighten the skin. The mixture needs to be applied and left on for half an hour before you rinse it off with cold water.
• Blend together a few grounded almonds and some yogurt and whisk well. Use this mixture after scrubbing your hands well with an exfoliator. Apply this mixture on damp skin and then rub intensely, paying extra attention on the knuckles, for about 10-15 minutes. Then, wait for few minutes and then wash off with lukewarm water.
• Extract the vitamin E liquid from 2 capsules and mix it into 2 tbs milk cream. Rub this mixture on your joints for about ten minutes. Use daily to notice a remarkable improvement in your skin after a few days.

• A mixture of honey and lemon juice can work like a magic to lighten your discoloured finger joints. You just need to rub the mixture onto the problem areas for almost ten minutes daily to see improvement in the dark skin.
• Papaya is a natural tanning cleanser; rub a piece of papaya or apply its pulp over your hands and wait for few minutes before washing it off with normal water.
• Make a paste of 1 tbsp of gram flour, 2 tbsp of raw milk and add couple of drops of lemon juice in it. Apply this mixture on the affected areas of the skin and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes before washing it off with cold water. Continue this treatment daily for around 1 month and then once a week in order to remove the tan and obtain visibly lighter skin.
• Apply powdered oatmeal mixed with sour yoghurt and cucumber juice on dull areas to brighten the skin. The mixture needs to be applied and left on for half an hour before you rinse it off with cold water.

• Soaking your hands in bowl of warm water mixed with glycerine, rose water and baking soda to reduce the appearance of dark knuckles.
