Actress Meagan Good and husband DeVon
Franklin get romantic in the pages of the February issue of Essence
Magazine just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The Hollywood couple dishes on how they keep love
glowing in the marriage even after honey moon and 2 years together. Both say
creating time for one another and making each other a priority are their vital
marital secrets,
"We make time for each other every day. Nothing comes before DeVon.
Not a movie or photo shoot… nothing," while DeVon added,
"Meagan and I both have strenuous time consuming careers. But no matter
what, we make sure to make time for each other. If she's working late, I'll get
off early and hang with her on set or vise versa."
As for when DeVon first realized that Meagan may actually be his wife, he reveals
that they were at an after party for Jumping
The Broom, a film DeVon helped produce.
I was mindful of crossing that professional line. Then, while we
were talking at the Jumping
The Broom premiere party, I
thought, ‘Wait! Something is going on here’ but I kept trying to tell myself,
‘No, no no.’
He further confessed that Meagan is just so precious, so incredible.
When she walks in the room, I think 'Wow, is that really my
wife? God must really think highly of me!'
